Cougs to play six in summer series edition

Whitman Cougars have been booked for six games over three days in this weekend’s Junior Legion edition of the Palouse Summer Series. The Cougars will be among 13 entrants for the campaign which will start Thursday.

The 13 teams, including two Canadian teams, will play at McDonald Park, WSU’s Bailey-Brayton Field and the Pullman High School field.

The Cougars are booked to start today, Thursday, against the Spokane Cannons team at WSU. They will play at Colfax Friday at 9 a.m. against the Langley Blaze.
