Ruger delivers Eagle scarf to camp pal 6/30/11

Larry Jensen, who will be a senior at Colfax High School next year, received the Eagle Award, scouting’s highest honor in a special court of honor at the United Methodist Church in Colfax Saturday evening.

The badge was presented by Todd Scholz, former Troop 595 scoutmaster, and Jensen’s mother, Marcella Mahler of Colfax.

Jensen is pictured here with Ruger, the Scholz dog who brought the Eagle scarf forward during the presentation.

Ruger over the years served as Jensen’s aide de camp.
