Garfield's Perkins duo to mark 50th 6/30/11

A reception to honor Norman and Darlene Perkins of Garfield on their golden wedding anniversary will be Saturday, July 9, from 2 to 4 p.m. in the Garfield Community Church. Perkins and Darlene Peterson, both Garfield High graduates, were married July 16, 1961, in Garfield and have resided there since. Now retired, Norman was employed in construction and later worked as maintenance supervisor for Garfield Schools.
