Spokane Jr. Livestock entrants collect awards

Jill and Art Swannack and their children Carmen, Leah and Owen Swannack and Thomas Wu and Miguel Pineda, their two exchange students, attended the Spokane Junior Livestock Show at the Spokane Fairgrounds May 4-8 .

Jill, is the leader of the Sprague Lamont 4H Club that won the Jim Seabeck award for outstanding club. The St. John FFA won the Jim Seabeck award for outstanding FFA Chapter.

The kids showed both sheep and meat goats at the fair.

Carmen received Grand Champion in FFA speech, Grand Champion FFA lads and ladies lead, Reserve Champion FFA Freshman/Sophomore Sheep fitting and show...
