St. John

Eugene Schmidt, a 1968 St. John graduate, has an interest in the campaign by Bridgeport to land President Obama as a commencement speaker this year. Schmidt, son of St. John resident Eileen Schmidt, served as superintendent at Bridgeport. He left the Bridgeport district two years ago and is now superintendent for a school district in Los Alamos, N. M. Schmidt received his education degree at Washington State College.
