St. John/Endicott’s Schuster sisters were set for a chip-off Wednesday to settle a tie in a three-school league match Tuesday that earned them each a share of the medal.

Erin and Michal Schuster shot 44s at the par 37 Columbia Point Golf Course in Pasco.

Erin Bailey carded a 60 and Felicity Mapes 63 to push the Eagles to a 211 score which bested the 225 posted by Tri-Cities Prep.

The SJE boys at Columbia Point finished at 209 that trailed TCP’s 177, Pomeroy’s 190 and Liberty Christian’s 194.

John Quinton shot 48 to best SJE, followed by Mason Howell’s 51, Dakota White’s 53, William Knott’s 57, Dustin Patrick’s 60 and Hunter Fairbanks’ 64.

Colin Pride of TCP took the medal with a 41.

A two-team meet with TOR last Thursday at St. John gave Erin Schuster the girls medal at 88, while Casey Brown of TOR topped boys play with a strong 2-over-par 74.

Will Knott topped the SJE boys at 95, followed by John Quinton’s 96, Dakota White 98, Dustin Patrick 117 and Hunter Fairbanks 129. Rounding out the top five from TOR were Cory Brown 108, Grant Gelhaus 114, Zack Zimmerman 114 and Damian Loucks 131.

Michal Schuster booked second at 92, followed by Eagle Erin Bailey 133 and TOR’s Nicole Zimmerman 148 and Lisa Harper 153.

The Eagles Saturday played at the par-62 Pomeroy course in a make-up. Pomeroy boys took team honors with Joel Myers shooting a 76 for low score. Eagles scores were White 95, Howell100, Quinton 101, McCue 139 and R.J. Baltierra 145.

Eagles Erin Baliey hit 122 and Felicity Mapes 149.

Bulldog golfers win at Harrington

Colfax golfers topped a four-team meet at Harrington last Thursday with a 232 score. Odessa-Harrington finished two strokes back at 234, and Kettle Falls finished at 235.

Tyler Stevenson and Kyle Johnson each carded a 42 to share medalist honors with Alex Patton of the host team. Other scores for Colfax were Corey Maltone 46, Bryce Kramlich 47, Dalton McNeilly 55, and Ryan Christopherson 57. Paige Mackleit hit a 54 in the girls competition.

Tuesday Colfax placed third at Fairways with a 464 behind Kettle’s 452 team win. Inchelieum’s Tyler Zacharle hit 77 for the medal on the par 72 course.

Johnson placed third with 82. Other Colfax scorers were Stevenson 85, Maltone 91, Kramlich 97, Kevin Li 109 and Christopherson 112.

Mackleit hit 113 and Alex Boyd 117 on the girls side which was again topped by Kira Powell of Odessa with an 84.
