Brost qualifies as 13th most fit

Cheryl Brost, wife of 1988 Colfax High grad Troy Brost, qualified to compete in the 2010 World CrossFit Games which brought 43 elite athletes from Canada, England, Australia, Iceland and the United States to the Home Depot Center in Carson Calif., July 16-18. She advanced to a point in the competition to qualify as the “13th most fit woman in the world.”

A former high school basketball and soccer coach, Cheryl and her husband operate a manufactured home park in Eugene, Ore. They have two children in grade school. She is the daughter-in-law of Walt Brost of Colfax.
