LaCrosse 4Hers help Startins at city farm

The LaCrosse All-Purpose 4H Club spent Memorial Day helping Gayle Startin with many projects at the city farm. More than 30 members, parents and friends worked from 9:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. Trucks, tractors, shovels and wheel barrows were busy tearing down old fence, building new fence, removing buildings, trimming trees, cleaning up debris around public buildings and much more. After a picnic lunch, a belated birthday celebration for Nancy Startin included cake for all to enjoy.
