‘Bubbillusionist’ will tour schools

Bubbillusionist Jarom Watts will tour 10 grade schools from May 19-21 to kick-off Whitman County Library Summer Reading 2010. This year’s Summer Reading theme is “Make a Splash – Read!” Programs are packed with exciting guests, activities and books.

Watts holds two official records in the Guinness Book of World Records and has two others pending. Watts looks forward to touring the Palouse, calling his visits “edu-training” for children, combining science with literacy in a way that makes children want to learn.

Children’s Librarian Sheri Miller said the “Bubbillusionist will inspire our children well into the summer months.” Miller reminds parents that attending library programs reinforces important skills in a fun and social environment.
