Lamont Community Church conducts meet

The annual meeting for the Lamont Community Church was at the church Sunday. After the potluck dinner, the minutes were read from last years meeting, reports were read and the business of the church was discussed.

Allen and Diane Cook drove to Kahlotus, last Friday, where they were joined by Sandi Miller, Logan and Kristen for a trip to Puyallup. They had dinner with Rob and Tracye Cook at Federal Way. Saturday, the group attended the first birthday party for Robbie Sweigert, the Cook’s great-grandson. Saturday afternoon, the Cooks and Mille’s returned to their homes.

Bonnie Swannack drove to Cheney Saturday to celebrate National Quilting Day at the Nazarene Church. Fifteen attended and shared the potluck lunch. The quilters were working on small quilts with the X and O pattern.

Denny and Linda O’Keefe drove to Ephrata Sunday morning where he was guest minister at Community Evangelical Church.

Dan and Jean Stromberger attended the Christian Heritage sale last Saturday. Art and Jill Swannack and their family also were in attendance. The sale was well attended.
