Area students perform in jazz festival

Oakesdale and Garfield/Palouse students performed Saturday in the Lionel Hampton International Jazz Festival at the University of Idaho.

Oakesdale’s Anna Mills, Jeff DeGon and Michael Conklin performed in the combo competition at the UI Law School courtroom.

Phoenix Rockness performs a ballad solo for the Garfield/Palouse band backed by Jeff Kent on piano and Alex Keeney on bass guitar.
