Albion 4Hers recruit blood donors

Megan Fertakis and Morgan Hatley, 4H members, checked in blood donors when the Albion 4H club along with the Red Cross sponsored a blood drive in Albion Dec. 22, 2009. Each member of the 4H club was required to get one person to schedule an appointment to donate. They had 41 appointments and collected 35 units of blood with 27 first time donors. The club made taco soup and homemade cookies as a special treat for those that donated.
