Seventh Starlight parade, Santa slated at Garfield

GARFIELD

This year’s seventh annual Starlight parade in Garfield will be Sunday, Dec. 6, starting at 5:30 p.m. in downtown Garfield. The event starts with a parade of entries decorated with Christmas lights. Santa will be a feature of the parade.

Immediately following the parade, Santa sets up for a jolly visit with children of all ages at the Garfield Fire Station.

While sharing their wishes for the holiday season, children and their parents can enjoy delightful refreshments — hot chocolate and special Christmas cookies.
