First Lamont potluck set

A community potluck will be at the Lamont Community Center Sunday, Aug. 30 at 1 p.m. Because of different holidays, the potluck dates this year are a little different. They are Oct. 4, Dec. 6 and Jan. 1.

Rosie Melville celebrated her ninth birthday Friday, Aug. 21, at the St. John Park. Rosie is the daughter of Burke and Liz Melville and will be in fourth grade when the Lamont school starts Wednesday.
