    COLFAX — The Substance Use Prevention Education and Resources (SUPER) program for Colfax is hosting its “Spring Medication Take Back Day” from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 27, at the Colfax library patio, 102 South Main Street. Everyone is invited to clean out their medicine cabinets to get rid of all the medications that they no longer use in a safe way.     COLFAX — The Colfax High School FFA Chapter is gearing up for another year of plant sales starting Friday, May 3, through Saturday, May 4. Colfax FFA teacher Michael Heitstuman said that this year’s dates will run from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. on May 3, and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on May 4.     COLFAX - The Palouse Empire Threshing Association had a successful annual Plowing Bee last weekend. The old fashioned plowing bee took place at 10 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday April 20-21, in the field across from the Palouse Empire Fairgrounds on state Highway 26.
