    St. John Principal Mark Purvine and librarian Kay Riehle announced Friday that St. John Elementary School will receive 53 new non-fiction books focusing on science. This collection derives from a "The Future STEMS from Reading" grant from the Washington State Library.     Pullman Fire Chief Mike Heston promoted Tony Nuttman, a veteran of 15 years on the Pullman Fire Department, to the newly created position of deputy fire marshal.
