    Bruce Jones, who now lives in upstate New York, is visiting his mother Fran Jones and brother Bryan; helping Bryan in the peach orchard and many chores at the ranch. Kim and Cindy Pitts’s daughter and her family, Amanda, Erik and sons 14-year-old Rafe and 12-year-old Tate Carlson, attended a Mariner’s game in Seattle recently. Tate and Erik entered a “Pop Fly” contest. Both Dad and son had to catch two fly balls each in right field.     News has been received of the passing of Brownie Jean Mortlock, 95, on July 25th at her home in Kettle Falls. She was the wife of the late pastor Earl Mortlock of the Country Bible Church 1965 - 1967. They had ten children, 26 grandchildren and 40 great grandchildren. A private family gathering will be held in her honor. She will be buried in Reardan, WA alongside her husband and mother.
