Linda and Larry Fry were home this week from California and manned the Homestead Ministries booth at the Palouse Empire Fair, along with other valuable local volunteers. Homestead Ministries deliver soup bags to the Whitman County Sherriff's Department and the visiting nurses at the fair who will distribute them in their travels.

Dennis Broeckel, son of the late Paul and Betty Broeckel and formerly from Rosalia and now Spokane, stopped at the fair and then visited withe cousin Doreen (Broeckel) and Tom Riedner and Brian Broeckel.
