Obituary-Catherine L. Crowe

The funeral service for Catherine L. Crowe, 92, long-time resident of Oakesdale, was Tuesday Nov. 20, 2012, at 1 p.m. in the Oakesdale Community Presbyterian Church. Burial followed at the Oakesdale Cemetery. Mrs. Crowe died last Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2012.

Born Feb. 12, 1920, at Elberton to Leo J. and Mary L. Hubner, she later moved with her family to a farm near Oakesdale where she attended grade school in a one-room rural schoolhouse near their farm and later attended Oakesdale High School where she graduated with the class of 1938.
