Blake and Carmen Heaton spent last week in Miami and Key West, Fla. They joined their daughter, Heather, and her sons, Valente, Jeronimo and Xico who were on their spring break from school, visiting son-in-law Jaime Reynoso, a cinematographer. Jaime is in Miami filming the T.V. series “Glades” on A & E.

They visited the Mel Fisher Museum, the home of Ernest Hemingway and rode an air boat to view alligators and other wildlife. They were accompanied by their son Christopher and daughter Heather’s friend Michael Owens, who had returned from Peru. The Heatons also celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary in Florida.

Art and Colene Sager were in Spokane Saturday for a Flying Farmers meeting. The group of approximately 16 members toured the MAC Museum in the morning, met after lunch in the MAC restaurant and some of them toured the Campbell House.

Pastor John Cross will give his first sermon May 6 at Selbu Lutheran Church where he will serve as interim pastor.
