Bulldog verbally commits to UW

COLFAX - A Colfax High School Junior has verbally committed to joining the Husky Nation at the University of Washington (UW) after she graduates next year.

Brynn McGaughey, 17, of Colfax, committed Wednesday, May 29, to play basketball at UW.

"I committed about a week ago, and I did it for many reasons. I kind of fell in love with UW because of the people, the culture and the community there. I am really excited about committing," she said.

She plans to study Sports Management when she attends.
