Tekoa Slippery Gulch countdown begins

TEKOA - The countdown for the Slippery Gulch Days festival is on as locals prepare for the week of celebratory festivities.

The annual celebration kicks off on Monday, June 10, as the Fishing Derby commences in Hangman Creek. Fish measuring occurs from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., on Thursday, June 13, and Friday from noon to 7 p.m. Fishing measurement takes place at Memorial Park, next to the pharmacy.

Also on Friday, a free throw competition welcomes all to the outdoor basketball court. The competition begins at 4:30 p.m. and runs until 6 p.m.
