Fern Enos Nafziger

Fern Enos Nafziger, 85, passed away on May 27, 2024. She was born on May 9, 1939, in Colfax, Washington, to Renol and Catherine Long. She lived in Almota during her childhood and adolescence and attended the one room schoolhouse there. She then attended Colfax High School, graduating in 1957. She married Lynn Enos on March 1, 1958, and they bought a farm in Glenwood, moving there in 1961. Fern and Lynn raised their three children and farmed as partners until Lynn's death in 1994. She became a certified dialysis technician and cared for Lynn for 15 years.
