Auditor seeks committee members

COLFAX —Whitman County Auditor Sandy Jamison is opening a special appointment period to recruit individuals to write “against” committee statements for the August 6, 2024, Primary Election Local Voter’s Pamphlet.

According to a press release from the Auditor’s Office, two district’s did not appoint an “against” committee to prepare a statement for the local voters’ pamphlet.

RCW 29A.32.280 states that the auditor has to seek out and appoint up to three members to form the committee.
