Stanley leads Eagles golf

Top-3 for each match played so far

COLFAX — With the third official varsity golf match completed, St. John-Endicott/LaCrosse’s McKenzie Stanley is making a strong impression on a potential run at a state championship.

The senior golfer, who is committed to golf next year at Columbia Basin College, put up an impressive score of 99 in their tournament on Tuesday, April 16.

The tournament was held in Chewelah, and was an 18-hole contest.

The Colfax Bulldogs had two golfers post scores on the day as well.

Connor McAnally shot a 101, and Jacob Ward shot a 103 in Chewelah.

The next varsity golf tournament will be sub-districts, taking place on Thursday, May 2.

The match will take place in Deer Park, with districts to follow Tuesday, May 14, in Asotin.
