Garfield Gun Club event this weekend

GARFIELD — This Saturday, April 20, will see the Garfield Gun Club host a prize money shoot.

The shoot is set to start at 7:30 a.m. with the squadding shoot, the shooting will start at 9 a.m.

There will be three different categories for competition: singles, handicap and doubles.

All categories are out of 50 shots, with doubles being 25 a pair.

There will be an entry fee for each category, with a Lewis purse.

There will be $500 in trophies awarded for A, B, C, D, ladies and junior class, with trophies for A, B and C class in doubles.

There will also be $1,750 in added money, with the overall winners awarded to the high overall scorer in the three events combined.

Trophies for champion, long yardage and short yardage will also be awarded at the event.
