Jamie Ann Wilson

July 8, 1998 - March 26, 2024

Jamie Ann Wilson, 25, from Tekoa, Wash., passed away Mar. 26, 2024 in Pullman, Wash. She was born July 8, 1998, in Salem Ore., to Troy Michael Wilson, and Alicia Tammarra (Tate) Wilson.

Jamie died by domestic violence. Her life, although brief in years, was impactful and vibrant in the way she fulfilled each of those days. She was the youngest of four girls and was later joined by their younger brother. The family traveled around the United States and eventually settled in Tekoa, Washington. She graduated High School in 2016 and set her sights on pursuing one of her passions...Food! Jamie earned a Bachelor of Hospitality Management from Washington State University, and was weeks away from completing a Masters degree of Organizational Management and Leadership. While attending college she earned the titles of Head and Executive Chef in restaurants where she was employed. Her coworkers, friends, and family appreciated her comedic relief, but also the way she was uncommonly kind. She frequently burst into song sharing her zest for music and writing songs. If there was a musical instrument within arm's reach she quickly picked it up and amazed everyone with her effortless talent. She was wondrously carefree with her signature winged eyeliner, Chuck Taylors and backwards baseball cap. A light in the dark, Jamie gifted happiness.

Jamie is survived by her father Troy M. Wilson. Sisters, Amber L. Moore, Ashley E. Sczenski and Jessica L. Schneider. Brother Samuel I. Wilson. Grandparents, William Tate Jr., Susan Tate, James Wilson, Pam Wilson. Brothers-in-law, Blake Moore, Connor Sczenski and Patrick Schneider. Uncles, Mical Tate and Terry Wilson. Aunts, Jennifer Tate and Pennie Wilson. Nephews Ben, Jack, Troy, Colt, Dierks and Max. Nieces, Elizabeth, Ashlynne, Margaret, Elsie and Ivy. As well as her beloved dog, Derek.
