Opening day for improved Colfax little league field

COLFAX - The Daniel W. Henry Little League park saw action on opening day, Saturday, March 30, after several months of improvements and renovations.

Four teams from Moscow, Pullman and Colfax gathered at youth baseball field for a tournament hosted by the Colfax Youth League.

Over the last nine months the field has seen work done to improve its conditions. "The Rotary Club did all the work revamping," Colfax Rotary member Allen Kirkpatrick said.

The field was leveled and hydroseed was added last fall. Three tons of field conditioner, and a portable pitching mound were also new additions.
