ALBION - Volunteer fire crew Albion Fire District 11 responded to a singlewide mobile home ablaze at 6:30 p.m. at North B Street on Easter Sunday, March 31.

District 11 Fire Chief Eric Bidle reported that volunteer firefighters from Diamond, Colfax and Steptoe also appeared on the scene to put out the flames.

Bidle reported that there was a total of seven trucks at the scene of the blaze, with approximately 26 to 30 firefighters on scene at 8:16 p.m. "We also had one water supervisor from the town of Albion to maintain the hydrant system for the town," Bidle said.
