Tekoa-Rosalia softball win two close games at home

Scored 37 runs combined in their opening two games

TEKOA - The Tekoa-Rosalia Timberwolves started their 2024 spring fast-pitch softball season on Saturday, March 23, with two home games against the Pomeroy Pirates.

The games were played in Tekoa.

The first game of the day saw the Timberwolves win the game 15-11 over the Pirates.

Tekoa-Rosalia was out-hit in the game 16-11, but had three less errors, leading to their four-run victory.

Starting pitcher Clare Wilkins pitched all seven innings for the Timberwolves. She allowed all 11 runs on 16 hits with six walks. She also struck out 10 batters in the game.
