Easter Egg Hunts on the Palouse

Egg hunts in almost every town in the county

COLFAX – Easter celebrations will take place this weekend throughout the county, with many opportunities for egg hunts, pictures with the Easter Bunny and more.

The Albion Best Adventures 4-H Club will be hosting an Easter Egg Hunt at 9 a.m. on Saturday, March 30, at the Albion Community Park. The hunt is open for children ages 0-12. Donations of canned food items for the Albion Food Bank will be accepted during the hunt.

In Colfax, the Friends of the Parks will host their fifth annual Easter Egg Hunt beginning at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 30, at Schmuck Park. The Egg Hunt is open for children ages 0-4, 5-7 and 8-10.

On the other side of town, Colfax Health and Rehabilitation of Cascadia will host their own hunt on Sunday, March 31, at the facility located at 1150 W. Fairview St. The Easter Bunny is scheduled to appear at 1 p.m. for pictures with children, with the egg hunt set for 1:30 p.m. There will be music, games, photo opportunities and special prizes during the hunt.

The Colton/Uniontown annual egg hunt will take place at 10 a.m., on Saturday, March 30, at Holzer Park in Uniontown.

In Endicott, locals can head to Trinity Lutheran Church, 217 4th St., at 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 30, for the Annual Endicott Community Easter Egg Hunt. The event is open to all children up to third grade.

For LaCrosse residents, the LaCrosse Community Club will hold their annual hunt at 10 a.m., Saturday, March 30, at the city park. The event is open to children up to third grade.

The Town of Malden will host an afternoon of Easter fun, beginning at 1 p.m. and continuing until 4 p.m. on Saturday, March 30, at the east end of the town park close to the new Municipal Building. There will be a free lunch open to the public, while supplies last, of hot dogs and sausages. Photo opportunities with the Easter Bunny will be available and an egg hunt will take proceed.

Oakesdale Parks and Recreation will see children ages 0-12 flock to the town park for their hunt at 10 a.m., Saturday, March 30. Prizes and candy will be given out, with coffee and baked goods available by donation.

The Rosalia Lions Club is hosting an egg hunt in City Park at 11 a.m on Saturday, March 30. An Easter breakfast is available at Rosalia Community Church from 9-11 a.m. before the hunt.

The St. John-Endicott 4-H Club will be hosting their annual Easter Egg Hunt at the St. John City Park starting at 10 a.m., Saturday, March 30. The hunt is open to children up to third grade. Donations of prizes or money are being accepted to help support the event in the future.

The Sprague Chamber of Commerce Easter Egg Hunt is at 10 a.m. at Sprague Elementary School. It is open to children ages 5-10.

Tekoa residents will have an egg hunt at 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 30, at Ruhl Park. The event is organized by the Tekoa Chamber of Commerce.

Several opportunities for egg hunts in Pullman will take place over the weekend.

The city's 63rd Annual Egg Hunt will kick off at 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 30, at Krugel Park. The event is hosted by the City of Pullman and the Pullman Kiwanis Club.

There will be an "Underwater Egg Hunt" at the Pullman Aquatic and Fitness Center, 500 NW Larry St., from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m., on Saturday, March 30.

Pullman Building Supply will be hosting an egg hunt at 9 a.m. on Saturday, March 30. Pullman Building supply is located at 400 Fairmount Dr., Pullman.

The Trinity Lutheran Church, located at 1300 NE Lybecker Rd., Pullman, will also be hosting an Easter Egg Hunt at 11:30 a.m. on Sunday, March 31.
