Motorcyclist airlifted after crash

COLFAX - A local motorcyclist was airlifted to a Spokane hospital Monday, March 18, after a crash about four miles east of the city.

Benjamin Miller, 53, of Colfax, was transported via helicopter from the crash scene near Milepost 34 of U.S. Highway 195.

According to the Washington State Patrol, the crash occurred around 1:44 p.m.

Miller was southbound on the highway when he lost control of his 2020 Ultra Harley Davidson, left the roadway to the right and crashed off the shoulder, the patrol reported.
