COLFAX - Local women may still be forced to seek childbirth healthcare services elsewhere if the local hospital moves ahead with a previous decision to shutter obstetric services.

Whitman Hospital and Medical Clinic commissioners decided Feb. 21 to end the services, but revised the issue during a special meeting Wednesday, March 6, at the Colfax Library.
