The Personal Representative named below have been appointed as Personal Representative of this estate. Any

persons having claims against the deceased must, before the time such claim would be barred by any otherwise applicable statute of limitations, present the claim in the manner as provided in RCW 11.40.070 by serving on or mailing to the personal representative or the Personal Representative’s attorney at the address stated below a copy of the claim and filing the original of the claim with the court in which the probate proceedings were commenced. The claim must be presented within the later of: (1) Thirty days after the personal representative served or mailed the notice to the creditor as provided under RCW 11.40.020 (1)(c); or (2) four months after the date of first publication of the notice. If the claim is not presented within this time frame, the claim is forever barred, except as otherwise provided in RCW 11.40.051 and 11.40.060.

This bar is effective as to claims against both the decedent’s probate and nonprobate assets.

NOTICE OF CALL FOR BIDS BID FOR 2024 LIQUID ASPHALT

Whitman County STATE OF WASHINGTON

Sealed bids will be received on the following proposal by the Board of County Commissioners of Whitman County, State of Washington, at its office in the Whitman County Courthouse in

Colfax, Washington, until 10:20 a.m. Pacific Time, on April 1, 2024 at which time they will be opened and publicly read. Handicap access may be obtained by the Mill Street entrance to the

Courthouse.

Each bid is to be separately sealed in an envelope addressed to the Board of County Commissioners with the name of the bidder and item bid, including time and date of opening written plainly on the outside of the envelope. (NO FAXES ACCEPTED.)

The Board of County Commissioners reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to accept the bid which in its estimation best serves the interests of Whitman County.

PUBLIC NOTICE

Whitman Conservation District

WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors of the Whitman Conservation District (“District”) operates under the laws of the State of Washington applicable to conservation districts.

WHEREAS the District is governed by a five-member board, as set out in RCW Chapter 89.08 and WAC Section 135-110.

It is RESOLVED that a poll-site election for an open position on the District board of Supervisors will be held on

March 13th from 2:00 pm until 6:00 pm at 601 N. Main Street, Colfax, WA 99111.

The elected position whose term is expiring in May 16, 2024 is currently held by Gary Luft.

Interested candidates must be registered voters who reside within the boundaries of the District. Candidates may be required to be landowners or operators of a farm, depending on the current composition of the District board of supervisors. The filing deadline for candidates to file their

candidate required information is February 12th, 2023.

Interested candidates must file their candidate required information at Whitman Conservation District at 601 N. Main Street, Colfax, WA 99111 .

Eligible voters are registered voters who reside within the boundaries of the District. The last day and time that voters can request ballots from the District is February 22nd, 2023. Ballots can be requested from Whitman Conservation District located at 601 N. Main Street, Colfax, WA 99111. Or by calling the office at 509-288-4644. If a voter is returning a ballot by mail, the voter must account for the time it will take for the ballot to be returned to the district by mail.

A conservation district supervisor is a public official who serves without compensation and who sets policy and direction for the conservation district. The published election procedures can be viewed at the District office and are available from the Washington State Conservation Commission.

Adopted at a regular board meeting of the District Board of Supervisors on Thursday January 11th, 2024 .

This project consists of constructing approximately 1,200 linear feet of 12-foot wide hot mix asphalt (HMA) path along Terre View Drive from Merman Drive to North Fairway Road and approximately 890 linear feet of 12-foot wide HMA path along Crestview Street from Grand Avenue to Thompson Street in Pullman, Washington. Associated project work includes constructing 2,095 linear feet of curb and gutter, 305 square yards of sidewalk, 2,420 square feet of modular block retaining wall, 935 linear feet of pedestrian railing, and two (2) rectangular rapid flashing beacon (RRFB) solar pedestrian crossing systems. Other miscellaneous related work includes, but is not limited to, minor storm sewer system modifications, existing fire hydrant relocation, utility cover adjustments, relocation and installation of permanent signage, and pavement striping.
