Trudy Gertrude Ann Weber

Trudy (Gertrude Ann) Weber, maiden name Druffel, passed away on February 10, 2024, at her home with her children by her side.

She was born on September 2, 1926, in Colton, Washington, to Maggie (Reisenauer) and Ben Druffel, and grew up in the Colton community where she attended school. She attended Washington State University where she was a member of the Kappa Delta sorority prior to marrying her husband, LeRoy Weber, on November 26, 1946. They made their home on their family farm outside of Colton, where she raised seven children and helped run their farm and ranch. Trudy loved her family and friends and showed it in many ways.

She always baked and cooked to make sure everyone was fed and happy while spending time together. A talented seamstress Trudy was always making quilts, baby blankets for family or the hospital, mending clothes, or ensuring the family had matching pajamas. The home was always filled with music and she blessed family and friends with her joy of singing throughout many occasions. Christmas as well as other holidays was filled with love and laughter as Trudy always hosted the entire family and ensured so many wonderful memories laughing and spending time together. She was very involved in the St. Gall Catholic Church and community in Colton being a member of the Catholic Daughters and the Colton Grange. She enjoyed gardening, fishing, playing cards and traveling throughout the U.S. and abroad with LeRoy as well.

Trudy is survived by her children, Joan (Greg) Moser of Genesee, Idaho; Bernie (Marie) Weber of Fernwood, Idaho; Jerry (Sheyanna) Weber of Colton; Marty (Judy) Weber of Colton; Pat Weber of Colton; her daughter-in-law Diane Weber of Pullman, Wash .; her sisters-in-law Esther Frei of Clarkston, Wash., and Imogene Weber of Colton; 14 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. Trudy was preceded in death by two sons, Tom and Frank Weber, and her loving husband LeRoy.

The Rosary will be held on Friday, February 23, 2024 at 10:15 a.m., at St. Gall Catholic Church in Colton, Wash. The Funeral Mass will follow at 11:00 a.m. Vault internment will be held following the services at St. Gall Catholic Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the St. Gall Parish, the St. Gall Endowment Fund, or the Guardian Angel St. Boniface School in Colton Washington.
