About the roundabouts

I drove truck for 47 years and when the roundabout on Freya Street, north of Frances St., was installed I was hauling food products to a URM warehouse. The roundabout humps in the middle and when the trailing trailer goes over this it is tipped about 30 degrees and all the palletized goods are dumped off the pallets and scattered over the floor of the trailer and must be restacked by hand to unload.

Exit 276 on Interstate 90 has two or three roundabouts, all jammed together making for a confusing mess. That serves no purpose than having some people going over the wrong way and they have to go back to figure out which exit off the roundabout to take.

If you live in Davenport, and have a medical emergency, when you arrive in Airway Heights you have several roundabouts to go through and sometimes there is a 5 minute wait to enter or exit. These long term delays could mean the difference between life and death.

I have hauled tons of wheat through Colfax on my way to the river and not one time have I had any problems entering or exiting town.

We all know having the State build everything will cost five times as much as it would if Whitman County did the work. Why not give the county the $13 million? The county employees are quite capable of replacing these two bridges and have several million dollars left over to use for something that would benefit the people that live here and pay the taxes that the state wants to squander on their one world policies.

Nothing good has come from all the millions of dollars wasted on these roundabouts that just cause confusion and anger with the drivers that are forced to use them. When will we ever get these communists out of our government? It is common knowledge that at least $2 million will be used to grease the wheels of the democrat party.
