Garfield holds emergency meeting about church flooding

GARFIELD - The Town of Garfield City Council conducted an emergency meeting on Friday, Feb. 2, at 4 p.m. to discuss a frozen fire line at the Methodist Church at 201 West Union Street and bids to repair the damage, which came to $32,000.

The City Council moved to award a bid to fix repairs to ServiceMaster of Lewiston to repair water damage in the building at a bid of $28,000, passing unanimously.

Garfield Mayor Jarrod Pfaff opened discussion on the bid for electrical repairs required for the building, with the Council deciding on the bid from EDA Electric of Moscow at $4,000 unanimously passe...
