Taylor returns to mat

TEKOA — The Timberwolves 2023 state alternate wrestler returns to the mat Thursday and Saturday this week.

But this year, Alexis Taylor will be wearing the red and black of Liberty (Spangle) High School, as not enough local grapplers turned out to field a Tekoa-Rosalia team.

Taylor opens her season Thursday night, Dec. 7, at East Valley (Spokane Valley) at the girls league meet.

Then Saturday, she will wrestle in Liberty’s home invitational....
