Ruling on PAC-12 emergency motion to stay granted

COLFAX — The Washington Supreme Court has stayed the ruling from the Whitman County Courthouse in Colfax, which granted Washington State University (WSU) and Oregon State University (OSU) control of the Pac-12 conference.

A temporary restraining order will remain in place, requiring the conference to act as a whole. The accelerated schedule of determining how the case will proceed is set to conclude no later than December 12.

In short, the decision made Tuesday, Nov. 28, currently ensures that all members of the current Pac-12 have equal voices in talks about the revenue and how it will be distributed this year.

OSU and WSU have said they will seek court review of the Commissioners decision.
