Kid's Shopping Day

COLFAX — The Thrifty Grandmother’s Shop is hosting its annual Kids’ shopping day on Dec. 6, from 1–4 p.m., 118 North Main Street.

The grandmothers will give out $10 gift certificates, good only for the day, to children ages 4 to 12 to buy Christmas gifts at the store for their families.

The shop will be reserved for the event, and a grandma will be available to help each child select a gift.

A parent or guardian must check their children in at the door and will be contacted when the children have finished shopping.

The grandmothers reported that more than fifty children attended the shopping day last year, so they suggested coming early for the best selection.
