Tekoa-Rosalia Timberwolves win first game of season

Timberwolves triumph 34-22

DAYTON - The Tekoa-Rosalia Timberwolves (1-5) earned their first win of the season against the Dayton Bulldogs (2-5).

The game was played on Friday, Oct. 20, and was played in Dayton.

The Timberwolves managed to hold the Bulldogs scoreless in the first half of the game, while scoring a touchdown of their own in the first and second quarter to lead 14-0 heading into the second half.

The Bulldogs managed to score one touchdown in the third quarter, but allowed two more touchdowns from the Timberwolves to take the 28-6 lead heading into the fourth quarter.

The Bulldogs made the game interesting in the fourth quarter, scoring two touchdowns to reach 22 points in the game. Tekoa-Rosalia responded with a touchdown of their own to win the game 34-22.

The next game for the Timberwolves will be played on Friday, Oct. 27.

The game will be played in Touchet against the Redhawks, and has kick off set for 7 p.m.
