Vikings win three of four played sets
PALOUSE – The Garfield-Palouse (GAR-PAL) Vikings bested the Colton Wildcats in their most recent matchup of the season.
The game was played in Palouse on Thursday, Oct. 12.
The Vikings would win the match in four sets, allowing the Wildcats to take the third set.
Set scores in the match saw GAR-PAL win the first, second, and fourth sets: 25-21, 25-18, 18-25, 25-15.
The Wildcats scored solid points in each set, but could not put together late set points to win more than one set, and fell to the Vikings in four sets for the second time this season.
In the game, Clair Moehrle had seven aces, four kills, and four digs to help lead the Wildcats.
Holly Heitstuman had one ace, two kills, and 11 digs for Colton.
