Stockpile projects see open call for bids

COLFAX— In the Monday, Oct. 16, county commissioners meeting, bids were opened for two stockpile site projects.

The Colfax Stockpile had two bids, including one from J.K. Crushing from Pullman with a basis of an award at $612,850 and one from a company in Cottonwood, Idaho, at $393,750.

The Gnaedinger Stockpile Site Bid had just one bid from J.K. Crushing at $685,500.

Public Works Director Mark Storey said the bids will be reviewed, and recommendations will be presented to the Board of Commissioners at the next meeting on Monday, Oct. 23....
