Former Rosalia resident receives art award

ROSALIA — Former Rosalia resident Collin J. Pittman, 24, received the Governor’s Arts and Heritage Young Arts Leader Award.

The Young Leader Award recognizes one Washington state individual between the ages of 18 and 35 annually for showing an outstanding impact through artistic practice or cultural heritage activities.

Pittman celebrated his professional theater directional debut at Spokane Valley Summer Theatre (SVST) in August, directing the regional premiere of “Escape to Margaritaville.”
