William Louis Sieveke

Born September 21, 1950, in Spokane, Washington, to William Carl and Gladys Sieveke, William (Bill) Louis Sieveke passed away peacefully at home Saturday, September 9, 2023, in Veradale, Washington.

Throughout his childhood, Bill grew up in the home, located on the road named after his family, Sieveke Road, in Tekoa, WA. He graduated in 1968 from Tekoa High School and in 1972 he received his Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Washington State University.

On July 25, 1980, Bill married Cheryl Annette Nicolson in Hayden Lake, Idaho, enjoying a life of farming and becoming an entrepreneur in restaurant, retail and on-line businesses. Known for his quick wit and sense of humor, Bill truly loved his family, his home and his work. In his early years, Bill had a "need for speed" and enjoyed flying, motorcross, motorcycle and car racing.

Bill is survived by his wife Cheryl Sieveke; two sons Doc Nicolson of Spokane Valley, Wash., Reggie Sieveke of Veradale, Wash .; two sisters Becky Shellman of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, and Marilyn Sieveke of Spokane Valley, Wash .; and one grandson Bo Breeze. He was preceded in death by his sister Susan Sieveke and granddaughter Caitlyn Breeze.

A Liturgy of the Word service will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Friday, September 22, 2023, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 822 N. Washington St. in Tekoa, Wash. Memorial gifts can be sent to the Union Gospel Mission Crisis Center for Women & Children, 1515 E Illinois Ave., Spokane, WA 99207.
