COLFAX — The Colfax Bulldogs lost their season opening game of the season, an away non-conference game at Shadle Park High School against the Shadle Park Highlanders Tuesday, Sept. 5.
Shadle Park (1-0) defeated the Bulldogs (0-1) in four sets.
The Bulldogs took the first set 25-23, then lost the next three sets to lose. The second set score was 15-25, the third was 22-25, and the fourth and final set was 20-25 for the Highlanders.
On the day, Ava Swan had 13 kills to go along with 10 digs in the game. She also had three blocks to lead the way for the Bulldogs. Hailey Demler had 13 kills...
