Colfax Events Center nearly 80 percent complete

COLFAX - Construction on the events center located at the Colfax Golf Course is nearly 80 percent complete.
Co-Project Manager Allen Kirkpatrick said that the events center, which began construction last June, has had approximately $460,000 expended on it so far.
Kirkpatrick said an additional $120,000 is needed to finish the project, noting that it may run a little bit more than that. "We found out we need to do some sound abatement, which is going to be an additional expense," he said.
Kirkpatrick explained that the primary building is finished, and the restrooms are almost completed....
