Sporting activities set for Saturday's Lentil Festival

PULLMAN — A 5K race, 3-on-3 basketball tournament, adult softball tournament and a pickle ball tournament are all set to take place Saturday, August 19, for Pullman’s Lentil Festival.

The annual Tase T. Lentil 5K fun run, which is hosted by Pullman Parks and Recreation, as well as support from Gritman Medical Center. The race begins at 7:30 a.m. Saturday.

The event will start at the Pullman Depot Parking Lot. The race will be a 3.1 mile course on roads and trails through the WSU community, as well as some campus spots. Runners and walkers are welcome to race and enjoy an early morning activity...
