GARFIELD - The Garfield Public Library held a Lego competition Wednesday, July 19.
The event was an opportunity for children and families to work together as individuals or teams to create a Lego build from their favorite book.
The competition lasted just over an hour, with some books the teams chose were: Little House on the Prairie, and The Giving Tree.
The designs by the competitors will hang out at the Garfield Bank for about a month, where people can come to the bank to vote on their favorite creation.
The winning team with the most amount of votes will receive a small prize.
