Pullman Lentil Festival slated for August, registrations open

33rd Lentil Festival celebrates Palouse region farmlands

 


PULLMAN — Pullman is hosting its 33rd National Lentil Festival on Saturday, August 19.

Presented by the Pullman Chamber of Commerce, the City of Pullman, and Washington State University, the one-day event began in 1989. It celebrates the Palouse region of farmlands in Eastern Washington and Northern Idaho’s reputation for producing the highest quality lentils in the United States.

The festival will start at noon, with the Washington State Employees Credit Union (WSECU) Grand Parade on Main Street.
